When a local Somerset community needed to host a Harvest Festival for 800 guests, they turned to White Horse Marquees for reliable traditional marquee hire and event expertise. To meet the challenge, our team installed a stunning 220-foot by 40-foot traditional canvas marquee, complemented by several additional marquees for catering, bar, and entertainment areas. The design featured authentic canvas material, wooden poles, and scalloped valances, bringing timeless country charm to this much-loved Somerset celebration.
Inside, we arranged trestle tables and seating for 800 people, ensuring ample space for dining, dancing, and socialising. Lighting and décor were carefully planned to capture the warmth and community spirit of a true English harvest festival.
The event was a huge success — so much so that it’s now become an annual tradition. Each year, attendance has grown, with the 2022 celebration attracting more than 2,000 people who enjoyed the same beautiful marquee setup.
